Frequently asked questions

No. Unlike gift vouchers, there's no ceiling on the amount you can give away. You can offer the amount of your choice, as long as it goes towards the purchase of cultural products or services: shows, theater, cinema, exhibitions, music, etc.

No. You can offer a culture allowance at any time. For example, for general occasions (end-of-year celebrations, summer, etc.), for cultural events (music or film festival, theater festival, etc.) or for a personal event (birthday, birth, etc.).

The culture allowance can be spent in any store offering cultural products or services. It can only be used to purchase cultural products or services: shows, theater, cinema, exhibitions, music, etc. Culture allowances cannot be used to purchase equipment, material or internet, television or telephone subscriptions.

The CSE is responsible for this. If the company does not have one, the employer can propose it.

No, the culture allowance must be offered without discrimination. All categories of employees must be entitled to the same amount. It is therefore not possible, for example, to apply means-testing to the grant.
